Salvadoran Day

Our mission

Unite the Salvadoran community in an environment of harmony and respect, promoting the cultural values of our country with other Latin American communities in the United States, so that our children do not lose our roots.

Salvadoran Day

History

Established in 1999 by Salvador Gómez Góchez during his tenure as President of the Salvadoran American National Association (SANA) in Los Angeles, our journey began with the vision of celebrating and honoring Salvadoran heritage.

Salvador Gomez
Gochez

He is mainly recognized for founding and creating “El Día del Salvadoreño” in the United States in 1999. This day also commemorates the Patron Saint of El Salvador, The Savior of the World.
